Alterations: Please keep in mind the estimated time to complete alterations is 2 weeks from the time of drop-off. Additional time may be required depending on the quantity and type of requested alterations.
Deposits: Deposits are required on all formal dresses, suits, and large orders. The amount will vary depending on the requested alterations.
Order Cancellations: Due to time dedicated to garment fittings, a non-refundable fitting/consultation fee will be applied to all orders which are canceled prior to completion.
Unclaimed Items: Items brought in for tailoring services are completed by the due date on the physical ticket given to the client at the time of drop-off. As per New Jersey State Regulations, items that are left unclaimed in Fama’s Tailoring Shop are to be placed into storage, donated, and/or discarded after a duration of 180 DAYS of left unclaimed on the business's property.
Customers who made payment for items before the 180 days will not receive a refund or have those items released to them.
As a courtesy, Fama’s Tailoring Shop may verbally remind clients via telephone of their unclaimed items every two to three months. Client's are required to leave their telephone number when dropping off items, and that telephone number is used for the courtesy calls. If the client changes their phone number, Fama’s Tailoring Shop is not responsible for not providing notification.
